The new Syracuse basketball staff under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara is knee-deep in its high school recruiting efforts within the 2027, 2028 and 2029 classes, as Inside the Loud House has outlined in numerous columns of late.
One priority target in the 2027 cycle has locked in an official visit to the Hill for September, while a 2028 recruit recently went on an unofficial visit to the Orange program, as Inside the Loud House first reported.
In the coming months, things will become clearer as to where the 'Cuse resides with targets in the 2027 and 2028 cycles. For now, though, the Orange is in the lead for a handful of recruits in those two classes, according to the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine ("RPM").
It's important to stress that as these high school prospects take visits and make list cuts, among other developments, which suitor is in the lead for them will fluctuate per the RPM. The same applies if Rivals experts, including senior national analyst Jamie Shaw, make official predictions for these SU recruiting targets.
