Syracuse basketball recruit Ian Condon is making a big-time case for climbing in the 2027 national rankings.
The 6-foot-7, 245-pound Condon, offered a scholarship by Orange first-year head coach Gerry McNamara and his staff in May, has played extremely well this weekend on Nike's EYBL circuit during a live period. 'Cuse coaches, along with SU legend Carmelo Anthony, have watched numerous recruits this weekend as the EYBL league has held a session in Las Vegas.

Condon plays for the 17U squad of the Baltimore-based Team Melo. He's also a standout rising senior at the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. One of his teammates at Sidwell Friends, 2028 point guard Jadah Washington, is receiving interest from the new Orange coaching staff.
Based on Condon's performances this spring and summer in the EYBL league, he's poised for a jump in the 2027 rankings. His scholarship offer list, too, should grow significantly sooner rather than later, especially after his terrific weekend in Las Vegas with college coaches watching him.
