Ian Condon, a 2027 four-star power forward from the talent-rich Washington, D.C., market, has scored a Syracuse basketball scholarship offer.

The 6-foot-7, 245-pound Condon disclosed his 'Cuse offer via his X page. He is a standout at the Sidwell Friends School in D.C. and has played quite well this spring for the 17U squad of the Baltimore-based Team Melo, which is a Nike EYBL program sponsored by Syracuse basketball legend Carmelo Anthony.

Condon also landed a new offer from Belmont. Last December, he picked up an offer from Siena; the Saints' head coach, Gerry McNamara, is now the Orange's new head coach. On X, Condon is followed by Ben Lee, a former Siena assistant who has joined McNamara's staff as an assistant coach.

According to recruiting services, Condon's full offer sheet also includes schools such as UCF, Saint Joseph's, Virginia Tech, American University, Villanova, Notre Dame and Northwestern.

Condon is rated a four-star prospect by ESPN, and a three-star player by other recruiting Web sites. Within the 2027 class, the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking places him at No. 150 overall, although based on Condon's play this spring in grassroots hoops, it's likely he will climb in the national rankings.

Syracuse basketball has offered several 2027 prospects of late.

Dating back to late April, the EYBL has conducted three spring sessions, with the latest session wrapping up on Monday in Kansas City, Kan. In one game this weekend, a win for Team Melo, Condon dropped 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field and an impressive 7-of-12 from beyond the arc.

Condon has been one of the top players on this AAU circuit in the 17U division, with Team Melo sporting a 6-4 overall mark. Condon is averaging 18.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while making 44.6 percent from the field, 41.3 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Last weekend, amid an NCAA-permitted live period with the Syracuse basketball staff on hand at an EYBL session in Memphis, Tenn., Condon averaged 22.8 points and 11.3 boards per contest while connecting on 52.4 percent from the field, 47.6 percent from long range and 83.3 percent from the charity stripe. The scouting experts at The Circuit named him to their All-EYBL session two first team.

As a junior during the 2025-26 season, Condon won numerous awards and honors in helping guide Sidwell Friends to a 22-7 record and a fifth consecutive Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference ("MAC") Tournament title. In the championship game victory, Condon tallied a game-high 24 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

In 2025-26, according to his bio on the MaxPreps Web site, Condon averaged 20.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while hitting on 55 percent from the field, 45 percent from 3-point land and 73 percent from the free-throw line.

Besides Condon, the new Syracuse basketball staff has offered 2027 prospects such as four-star shooting guard RJ Moore, five-star point guard Nasir Anderson, four-star center Lewis Uvwo and five-star point guard King Gibson. The Orange has also re-offered 2027 four-star center Caleb Ourigou.
