Javien Robinson, a 2027 four-star wide receiver from Pennsylvania who has visited SU several times, has scheduled an official visit to Syracuse football and included the 'Cuse in his list cut.

According to Rivals, Robinson's top five includes Syracuse football, Miami, West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Rutgers. The 'Cuse staff has recruited him hard for a while now, first offering a scholarship to Robinson in November of 2024.

Per his X page, Robinson will take an official visit to the Orange program from June 12 to June 14. The 'Cuse coaching staff, these days, is busy locking in spring-practice visits and official visits over the summer with recruiting targets in the 2027 class, for one.

Last month, when Syracuse football held a junior day on January 24, Robinson was in attendance at the JMA Wireless Dome as Syracuse basketball took on Miami, a source has told me. According to recruiting analysts and recent interviews, Robinson is forging a strong relationship with Orange wide receivers coach Josh Gattis.

Syracuse football is prioritizing 2027 four-star wide receiver Javien Robinson.

Robinson is a standout at McKeesport Area Senior High School in McKeesport, Pa., which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. In the 2025 campaign, McKeesport Area Senior High School went 9-4 overall and reached the title game of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League ("WPIAL") Class 4A playoffs.

Within the 2027 class, 247Sports places Robinson at No. 145 overall, No. 22 at wide receiver and No. 8 in Pennsylvania. At the time of this writing, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite had him at No. 279 nationally, No. 38 at wide receiver and No. 12 in Pennsylvania.

Syracuse football coaches are pursuing numerous highly ranked wide receivers in the 2027 cycle, including Robinson, five-star Nick Lennear from Miami and four-star Khalil Taylor, who is also from the Pittsburgh area and will officially visit the 'Cuse from June 19 to June 21. SU coaches are discussing an official visit with Lennear, but nothing is finalized as of yet.

Currently, the Orange staff, led by head coach Fran Brown, has secured eight verbal pledges among high school juniors, and the team's 2027 class is No. 7 nationwide, according to the 247Sports Composite.
