Syracuse football is expected to host various recruiting targets in different classes on Saturday during a junior day at the JMA Wireless Dome, as Syracuse basketball will welcome Miami to the Hill.

I outlined in another article, earlier on Friday, some of the anticipated visitors on Saturday, Jan. 24. Another possible visitor - although I'm told it's not 100 percent set in stone - is elite 2027 wide receiver Javien Robinson from the Pittsburgh area, per a source.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Robinson, who attends McKeesport Area Senior High School in McKeesport, Pa., also visited the Orange program late last year and in November of 2024. According to 247Sports, Robinson's full scholarship offer sheet includes teams such as Florida State, Miami, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse football, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Temple and UConn, among others.

Within the 2027 class, 247Sports rates Robinson as four stars, No. 145 overall, No. 22 at wide receiver and No. 8 in Pennsylvania. Both the industry-generated 247Sports Composite and the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking place him in the top 350 nationally.

More expected visitors to Syracuse football on January 31.

The Orange is planning to have another junior day on Saturday, Jan. 31, when Syracuse basketball will face Notre Dame at the Dome. I noted last month that 2027 four-star linebacker Antwoine Higgins Jr., an All-American at Anderson High School in Cincinnati, plans to attend Syracuse football's junior day on January 31.

Also planning to be at this junior day on January 31 is 2027 three-star tight end Michael Nnabuife, a source told me on Friday. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Nnabuife plays at the powerhouse Saint Frances Academy, which in the 2025 season was one of the country's top high school programs.

Last November, Nnabuife named a top six of the Orange, Alabama, N.C. State, Maryland, Florida and Michigan State. He is a three-star prospect in the 2027 cycle, according to ESPN.

Several other expected visitors to Syracuse football on January 31, per Sports Illustrated and social media posts, include 2027 tight end Derrius Jones of the Blue Ridge School in St. George, Va., 2027 defensive back Semajay Robinson of Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and 2029 edge Kamari Watson of Maury High School in Norfolk, Va.
