4-star WR, a top-100 national prospect, locks in Syracuse football game day visit

One of the top wide receivers in the 2027 class will visit Syracuse football in late November.

According to his X page, 2027 four-star wide receiver Javien Robinson from the Pittsburgh area plans to visit the Orange for the team's 2025 regular-season finale on Saturday, Nov. 29, against Boston College at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Heck yeah.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Robinson is a junior at McKeesport Area Senior High School in McKeesport, Pa., which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. The Orange staff offered this top-100 national prospect a scholarship in early November of last year, per his X page.

Robinson, beyond the 'Cuse, is eyeing visits this fall to Rutgers, Miami, Penn State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

An elite wide receiver will visit Syracuse football later this year.

Late November won't be Robinson's first time on the SU campus. He was in attendance at the Dome on November 30, 2024, when the Orange stormed back to take down top-10 Miami in the final regular-season game of last year.

In mid-August, ahead of the 2025 campaign getting underway, MaxPreps named Robinson to its preseason All-Great Lakes Region third team on offense. Heading into a game on Friday evening, McKeesport is 1-2 so far in the current term, according to MaxPreps.

According to recruiting services, Robinson's full offer sheet to date includes schools such as Akron, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse football, Temple, Toledo, UConn, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Duquesne and Sacramento State.

Within the 2027 class, 247Sports places Robinson at No. 100 overall, No. 15 at wide receiver and No. 6 in Pennsylvania. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite, at the time of this writing, had him at No. 144 nationally, No. 21 at his position and No. 6 in Pennsylvania.

Over at the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking, meanwhile, Robinson was No. 294 nationwide, No. 38 at wide receiver and No. 9 in Pennsylvania.

Syracuse football coaches have secured six verbal pledges in their 2027 class, and each prospect is rated three stars on the 247Sports Web site. The Orange's 2027 cycle is No. 4 overall via the 247Sports Composite and No. 7, per the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Another 2027 wide receiver whom the Orange staff is recruiting hard hails from the Sunshine State. Five-star Nick Lennear, a top-25 national prospect out of Miami Northwestern Senior High School, has said he's likely to visit Syracuse football sometime this year.
