The Syracuse basketball staff is taking a look at one of the top centers in the 2028 class.
Inside the Loud House reported that the Orange was on hand last Thursday during an open gym at the powerhouse Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. One of the Prolific Prep players whom the 'Cuse staff was in to see was 2028 five-star center Bamba Touray.
Inside the Loud House is told that at this point, Touray has not received a scholarship offer from Syracuse basketball, but an offer could certainly come down the road.

The 7-foot, 210-pound Touray, originally from Senegal, is an elite prospect in the 2028 cycle. Per the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking, he is No. 2 nationally, No. 1 at center and No. 1 in Florida. Over at the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Touray is No. 3 overall, No. 2 at center and No. 1 in Florida.
Earlier this summer, Touray transferred from another juggernaut high school team, the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., to Prolific Prep. Both programs are expected to be significant contenders for a national title at the end of the 2026-27 season, experts have told Inside the Loud House.

Another transfer into Prolific Prep for the 2026-27 campaign is 2028 five-star point guard Michai White from Hackensack, N.J., who landed an offer from the Orange late last week and is discussing a possible visit to SU with the 'Cuse staff, a source tells Inside the Loud House.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound White, a top-20 national prospect in the high school junior class, took an unofficial visit to Syracuse in late August 2025 to compete in the team's Elite Camp, which is usually held every year but wasn't in August 2026, Inside the Loud House has reported.
At least 15 players in the 2028 cycle have scored a scholarship offer from the new Orange staff under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara.
According to his social media accounts, Touray's full scholarship offer sheet includes Utah, Missouri, Saint Louis, Ole Miss, Georgia, UNLV, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Marquette, Michigan and Indiana.
In the latest AAU season, Touray played at a high level for the 16U team of the Florida-based Tre Mann Elite in the Puma-sponsored PRO16 league. In the 16U division, Touray received MVP honors, and Tre Mann Elite reached the Final Four.
