On Thursday, at Overtime Elite's fifth-annual pro day, Syracuse basketball assistant coach Allen Griffin was in the house to watch various four-star recruiting targets, two sources confirmed to me.
Overtime Elite, the Atlanta-based professional league, conducts this annual combine-style event where prospects go through drills as well as 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmages, with media members, college coaches and NBA personnel in attendance.
There are at least four Overtime Elite players, whom I'm aware of, that hold scholarship offers from the Orange coaching staff. One of them is visiting the Hill next month.

With Griffin on hand, several Overtime Elite prospects earned high marks from analysts and scouts for their performances at the event. My friend Jamie Shaw, a top national analyst/scout with Rivals, named Anderson Diaz as one of his best performers.

The 6-foot-1 Diaz, a 2027 four-star point guard, received an offer from the Orange in mid-July. He previously attended Lawrence Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, N.Y., on Long Island. One of his Lawrence Woodmere teammates was 2027 four-star big man Caleb Ourigou.

The 6-foot-10 Ourigou landed a scholarship offer from the 'Cuse coaching staff in May of this year. Both had to move on from Lawrence Woodmere because that school is closed during the 2025-26 school year due to financial issues.
Within the 2027 cycle, Diaz is a top-25 national prospect and a top-10 point guard. Ourigou, meanwhile, is a top-70 overall player and a top-10 center in this recruiting class.
Another Overtime Elite player is 2026 four-star big man Asher Elson, who was offered by the 'Cuse in mid-April of 2024 and will officially visit Syracuse basketball from October 10 to October 12. The 6-foot-10 Elson, who is entering his second season with Overtime Elite, is a top-115 national prospect and a top-20 power forward in the 2026 class.
One of the latest additions to Overtime Elite is 2027 four-star wing/small forward Clyde Walters, who joined the professional league in late August, according to a press release. The 6-foot-6 Walters secured an Orange offer in late June.

Walters transferred to Overtime Elite from the Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. He is a top-50 overall player and a top-15 small forward within the 2027 cycle.
According to the Overtime Elite Web site, Diaz, Ourigou and Elson are suiting up for the Cold Hearts during the upcoming 2025-26 season. Walters is playing for RWE.
