Two 2027 four-star prospects who hold offers from Syracuse basketball will spend the upcoming season in the Atlanta-based professional league Overtime Elite.
Joining Overtime Elite, according to press releases from the league, are 2027 four-star point guard Anderson Diaz from New York City and 2027 four-star big man Caleb Ourigou, who is also from New York City.

Diaz, from the Bronx, was offered by the 'Cuse staff in mid-July. Ourigou, who hails from Queens, landed his scholarship offer from the Orange in May.
Syracuse basketball recruits are headed to Overtime Elite.
Both Diaz and Ourigou, most recently, played for the Lawrence Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, N.Y., on Long Island. Earlier this summer, the Lawrence Woodmere Academy announced that it would be closed during the 2025-26 school year due to financial issues, meaning Diaz and Ourigou would need new homes.
At Overtime Elite, they will join another Orange target, 2026 four-star power forward/center Asher Elson from Brooklyn, who in the 2024-25 season competed for the Cold Hearts. The 6-foot-10 Elson will take an official visit to Syracuse basketball from October 10 to October 12, a source has told me.
Diaz, a top-25 national prospect and a top-10 point guard in the 2027 cycle, has a full offer list that includes schools such as Providence, Ole Miss, Louisville, UCLA, Illinois, Cincinnati, Villanova and Seton Hall, among others.
Ourigou, a top-75 national prospect and a top-10 center in the 2027 class, holds offers from teams including St. John's, UCLA, Illinois, Seton Hall, Temple, West Virginia and Florida.
On the AAU circuit this spring and summer, Diaz performed well while playing up a division for the 17U team of the New York City-based Renaissance Hoops in Nike's EYBL league. During the latest grassroots hoops season, Ourigou played for the Renaissance Hoops' 16U squad.
The scouting experts at The Circuit named Diaz to their All-EYBL underclass team. He averaged 9.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Ourigou, meanwhile, averaged nearly a double-double during the EYBL regular season. At last month's Peach Jam in North Augusta, S.C., he averaged 11.6 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per encounter.
To date, the Syracuse basketball coaching staff has offered a scholarship to at least 15 prospects in the 2027 class. Five-star power forward Zion Green from the Philadelphia area was on an unofficial visit to the Orange this weekend, a source told me.
