Anderson Diaz, a 2027 four-star point guard from New York City, has picked up a scholarship offer from Syracuse basketball.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Diaz, who hails from the Bronx, disclosed his offer from the Orange via his X page on Sunday night.

Diaz previously played for the St. Raymond High School for Boys in the Bronx. However, he now suits up for the Lawrence Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, N.Y., which is the same program of 2027 four-star big man Caleb Ourigou. The 6-foot-10, 215-pound Ourigou received an offer from the 'Cuse staff this past May.
On the AAU circuit, Diaz is playing up a division in 17U with the New York City-based Renaissance Hoops in Nike's EYBL league. Per a post on X from top national writer Sam Lance, on Sunday, amid a live period in grassroots hoops, Syracuse basketball head coach Adrian Autry was on hand for a game involving Renaissance Hoops during this past weekend's EYBL session in North Augusta, S.C.

Syracuse basketball's offer list of 2027 prospects continues to grow.
According to recruiting services, Diaz holds offers from other schools such as Providence, Ole Miss, Louisville, UCLA, Illinois, Cincinnati, Villanova and Seton Hall, among others. Undeniably, his offer sheet will keep on expanding.
Within the 2027 class, 247Sports places Diaz at No. 26 overall, No. 7 at point guard and No. 2 in New York. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite, at the time of this writing, had him at No. 30 nationally, No. 7 at point guard and No. 2 in New York.
