Syracuse basketball 4-star and 5-star priority recruits participating in 2026 Nike Academy

Syracuse basketball priority recruits in the 2027 class, along with a 'Cuse target in the 2028 cycle, have been competing in a showcase on the West Coast.

The 2026 Nike Academy has been taking place, with members of the 2027 and 2028 classes, along with some incoming college freshmen, selected to participate. According to social media posts, the academy is being held in Thousand Oaks, Calif., near Los Angeles.

The rosters for the 2026 Nike Academy have been posted online by the scouting experts at The Circuit. Let's get into which SU recruiting targets have been at the 2026 Nike Academy.

J'Lon Lyons
2027 four-star point guard
Clinton Grace Christian School in Clinton, Md.
The 6-foot-3 Lyons recently included the Orange in his top eight. He will take an official visit to the Orange program from September 11 to September 13,

Moussa Kamissoko
2027 five-star wing/small forward
Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y.
The 6-foot-8 Kamissoko, similar to Lyons, is a priority recruit for the 'Cuse in the high school senior class. Inside the Loud House reported earlier this week that Syracuse basketball is expected to get an official visit from Kamissoko at some point.

Devin Cleveland
2027 four-star guard
La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind.
The 6-foot-3 Cleveland recently dropped a top seven, and the Orange is on the list. The expectation is that he will take official visits to all his finalists before making a college decision.

Mason Collins
2028 five-star wing
The Tatnall School in Wilmington, Del.
The 'Cuse coaching staff had been showing an interest in the 6-foot-6 Collins for a while, dating back to when Adrian Autry was the head coach. Last month, new head coach Gerry McNamara and his staff extended a former offer to Collins.

Two other 2027 prospects who hold offers from Syracuse basketball have been at the 2026 Nike Academy. They are five-star point guard King Gibson of the Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio, and five-star center Lewis Uvwo of Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
