New Syracuse basketball 2027 five-star verbal commit Moussa Kamissoko and several Orange 2028 recruiting targets are expected to suit up next month at a USA Basketball junior national team minicamp in Colorado.
Per a release from USA Basketball, more than 80 high school prospects across the 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 classes have been selected for this upcoming training camp that will take place from October 9 to October 11 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
At the minicamp, players will engage in drills and scrimmages, while also participating in sessions on media training, NCAA rules and eligibility, mental health guidance, financial management and more.

2027 Class
Moussa Kamissoko
A senior at the powerhouse Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio, Kamissoko verbally committed to the Orange on Friday morning. The talented wing/small forward is a top-10 national prospect in the high school senior class, per Rivals.
Nasir Anderson
The five-star point guard has Syracuse basketball in his top 10, although Anderson canceled a recent official visit to the Hill. After the fall recruiting period began on September 9, the 'Cuse staff was in for Anderson and others at Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
2028 Class
Logan Chwastyk
The five-star center out of the Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, Pa., picked up a scholarship offer from SU on June 15, which was the first day that college coaches could initiate direct communication with high school juniors.
Mason Collins
Collins is a standout five-star wing at The Tatnall School in Wilmington, Del. He received a Syracuse offer on July 12, and Collins is a top-10 national prospect in the 2028 cycle.
Xavier Skipworth
The five-star wing from the DMV will spend the upcoming campaign at the juggernaut Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla. Recently, the Orange was in for him during an open gym at Montverde. The former Syracuse basketball staff offered Skipworth, while the new 'Cuse staff remains in pursuit of him.
Michai White
The five-star point guard, originally from New Jersey, has transferred to Prolific Prep for the 2026-27 season. When the Syracuse basketball staff was at a recent Prolific Prep open gym, White picked up an offer from the Orange.
2029 Class
David Johnson
The former SU staff under then-head coach Adrian Autry offered the five-star wing and top-five national prospect in August 2025, and it was Johnson's first offer. While it's unclear if the new Orange staff under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara has re-offered this Rochester, N.Y., native yet, it's likely that the 'Cuse will evaluate Johnson, who will play alongside Kamissoko at Spire in 2026-27.
