Scouts laud Syracuse basketball 4-star, 5-star targets for their EYBL play in Las Vegas

Syracuse basketball four-star and five-star recruits across the 2027 and 2028 classes begin their quests for a coveted Peach Jam crown on Tuesday as Nike's EYBL league holds its season-ending tournament through Sunday, with college coaches in attendance for part of the event.

However, last weekend, the EYBL conducted a regular-season session in Las Vegas, with the Orange coaching staff and its peers also on hand. Numerous prospects, who hold either a scholarship offer or interest from the 'Cuse, have received honors for their performances in Las Vegas, according to the scouting experts at The Circuit.

Syracuse basketball recruits are honored for their play last weekend in Sin City.

All-EYBL Session IV second team

Ian Condon, 2027 four-star power forward, Baltimore-based Team Melo (17U division)
Stats: 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game
Recruitment: Condon was offered by SU in May and will take an official visit to Syracuse basketball from September 1 to September 2, Inside the Loud House has reported

Moussa Kamissoko, 2027 five-star wing/small forward, Bronx, N.Y.-based PSA Cardinals (17U division)
Stats: 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game
Recruitment: Kamissoko was first offered by the former 'Cuse staff in December 2024, and the new Orange staff remains in pursuit of him

King Gibson, 2027 five-star point guard, Charlotte, N.C.-based Team United (17U division)
Stats: 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game
Recruitment: Gibson picked up an offer from the 'Cuse in May

Xavier Skipworth, 2028 five-star wing, Washington, D.C.-based Team Takeover (17U division)
Stats: 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game
Recruitment: The former SU staff had offered Skipworth, and he has heard from the new Syracuse basketball staff since the 2028 contact period opened on June 15

All-EYBL Session IV underclass team

Xavier Skipworth, 2028 five-star wing, Washington, D.C.-based Team Takeover (17U division)
Stats: 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game

Recruitment: Lyons, offered by Syracuse basketball last summer, will officially visit the program from September 11 to September 13

Markus Kerr, 2027 four-star wing, Charlotte, N.C.-based Team United (17U division)
Stats: 14.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game
Recruitment: The Orange is in regular contact with Kerr, although an offer hasn't yet been extended
