The 'Cuse staff, led by ace recruiter and head coach Fran Brown, has done a tremendous job with its recruiting efforts out of the portal this off-season. National and Atlantic Coast Conference pundits have praised Brown and his assistants for hauling in a 2024 transfer class that is ranked in the top 25 nationally, according to the 247Sports Web site.
Regarding college transfers who play on the offensive line and have pledged to the Orange this off-season, besides Hornsby, they include three-star Da’Metrius Weatherspoon, a redshirt sophomore from Howard, and three-star Joshua Miller, a freshman from Georgia.
Before officially taking over the 'Cuse program in early December of last year, Brown most recently served as the defensive backs coach with the Bulldogs.
