The nation's top high school hoops conference, where various Syracuse basketball recruits play, is getting a big-time makeover ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Scholastic ("EYBL Scholastic"), which features top-flight independent basketball academies and prep-school programs, will have 15 member institutions in 2026-27, as compared to 20 this past season, according to social media posts.
Here are the 15 EYBL Scholastic schools for 2026-27:
•AZ Compass Prep School in Chandler, Ariz.
•CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix
•Dream City Christian School in Glendale, Ariz.
•Faith Family Academy in Dallas
•Iowa United Prep in Des Moines, Iowa
•La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind.
•Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y.
•Masters Academy International in Stow, Mass.
•Monarch Academy in Kansas City, Kan.
•Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla.
•Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va.
•St. James Academy in Springfield, Va.
•Tennessee Collegiate Academy in Millington, Tenn.
•Veritas Academy in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
•Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah
Seven EYBL Scholastic teams from 2025-26 will not be in the league in the upcoming campaign. They are:

•CATS Academy in Boston
•Christ School in Arden, N.C.
•Link Academy in Branson, Mo.
•Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio
•Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kan.

AZ Compass Prep
Zion Green, a 2027 four-star forward who holds an Orange scholarship offer and has unofficially visited the Hill, will spend the upcoming campaign with the Dragons.
CIA Bella Vista
Five players on the Bears' 2026-27 roster have received an offer from the new 'Cuse staff. They are:
•2027 four-star big man Ahmed Nur
•2028 four-star forward Isaiah Clarke
•2028 five-star point guard Liam Mitakaro
•2028 four-star forward Settimo Yugu
•2029 big man Mamadou Issa Sow
Iowa United Prep
The Orange coaching staff is showing an interest in 2027 four-star forward Godson Okokoh, who plays for Iowa United Prep.
Long Island Lutheran
The 'Cuse is in pursuit of 2027 five-star wing/small forward Moussa Kamissoko, who is a standout with the Crusaders.
Masters Academy International
Kevin Wheatley Jr., a 2028 five-star wing at Masters, held an offer from the prior SU staff under then-head coach Adrian Autry. The new Orange coaching staff under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara is also showing an interest in Wheatley.
Montverde
Syracuse basketball coaches are recruiting two prospects from the Eagles. They are 2028 five-star wing Isaiah Hamilton and another 2028 five-star wing, Xavier Skipworth.
