Syracuse basketball first-year head coach Gerry McNamara and his assistants are in attendance this weekend during a scholastic live period to check in on four-star and five-star targets across different classes.

From June 26 to June 28, college coaches can evaluate recruits as they suit up for their high school programs, much like two weeks ago. More live periods will also arrive next month, when prospects compete for their respective AAU squads.

Orange recruiting targets in the 2027 and 2028 cycles (and perhaps beyond) are playing this weekend at various events. They include DMV Live in Hyattsville, Md., Philly Live in Philadelphia, the Mid-Atlantic Independent School Team Camp in Allentown, Pa., and the NEPSAC showcase in Worcester, Mass.

According to recruiting analysts and social media posts, McNamara and several assistants have been attending DMV Live. Orange assistant Ryan Daly is at Philly Live. It's entirely possible that the SU staff may also be at the Mid-Atlantic Independent School Team Camp and the NEPSAC showcase, but I don't know that for sure.
