Kingsley Rogers, a fast-rising guard/wing in the 2028 class from New York state, is eyeing some potential visits this fall, including one to Syracuse basketball.
That's according to a recent interview that the 6-foot-5 Rogers conducted with recruiting analyst Jake Weingarten. One of his AAU teammates, by the way, took an unofficial visit to the Orange earlier this summer.
When asked about possible upcoming visits by Weingarten, Rogers said: "I might go on some in the fall. Been talking to Boston College, Syracuse, and Siena about some visits. So if I can go on those, I will." Inside the Loud House independently confirmed on Friday that Rogers is eyeing a visit to SU, but a date hasn't been finalized yet.
As Inside the Loud House noted in a separate article on Rogers in late June, the new Orange staff, led by first-year head coach Gerry McNamara, is among various high-major programs that reached out to Rogers after the 2028 contact period opened on June 15.
It's early in his recruiting process, but already, Rogers has picked up scholarship offers from schools such as New Mexico, Albany, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Hofstra and Florida Atlantic, per his Instagram page. College teams that he has heard from since mid-June include SU, Buffalo, Utah, Hofstra, Baylor, Auburn, Marquette, Siena, Michigan State, Albany and Notre Dame, among others.
Rogers, who is originally from Long Island, told Weingarten that squads heavily involved in his recruitment these days include Albany, Utah, Notre Dame, New Mexico, Hofstra and Rutgers.

In the 2026-27 campaign, Rogers will be a junior at the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, Mass. This spring and summer on Nike's EYBL circuit, he suited up for the 16U team of the Bronx, N.Y.-based PSA Cardinals.
During the latest AAU season for the PSA Cardinals, Rogers averaged 7.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game while connecting on 45.2 percent from the field, 27.3 percent from 3-point range and 83.9 percent from the free-throw line, according to the EYBL Web site.
Three of Rogers' teammates with the PSA Cardinals in the 16U division are 2028 five-star wing Kevin Wheatley Jr. of the Masters Academy International in Stow, Mass., 2028 four-star power forward Damian Mojica of The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and 2028 four-star point guard Malik Moore of Iowa United Prep in Des Moines, Iowa.
The new Orange staff has re-offered Wheatley. Mojica holds an offer from Syracuse basketball and took an unofficial visit to the 'Cuse in late June, as Inside the Loud House first reported. Moore, similar to Rogers, has heard from SU coaches since the 2028 contact period opened on June 15.
