Kingsley Rogers, a 2028 guard/wing originally from Long Island, is hearing from Syracuse basketball and numerous other schools since the contact period opened for his class.
On June 15, college coaches could start initiating direct communication with 2028 prospects, who are entering their junior years of high school. Since then, the Orange staff has reached out to many 2028 players, and some of those rising juniors have scored scholarship offers from the 'Cuse.
It’s been an exciting week for ‘28 guard Kingsley Rogers of @PSACardinals. Per source, he’s heard from these schools:

The 6-foot-5 Rogers, according to a recent post on X from MADE Hoops scouting analyst Trent Watson, has heard from schools such as Syracuse, Buffalo, Utah, Hofstra, Baylor, Auburn, Marquette, Siena, Michigan State, Albany and Notre Dame, among others.
According to his Instagram page, Rogers' early scholarship offer sheet includes teams such as New Mexico, Albany, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Hofstra and Florida Atlantic.
In a recent article on zagsblog.com, my guy and top New York-based scout Zach Smart noted that both Rogers' mom and dad were standout hoopers at Baylor. The Bears won a national title in 2021.
Syracuse basketball is taking a look at 2028 guard/wing Kingsley Rogers.
Rogers attends the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, Mass. On the AAU circuits this spring and summer, he is playing for the 16U team of the Bronx, N.Y.-based PSA Cardinals in Nike’s EYBL league.
Three of Rogers' PSA Cardinals teammates in the 16U division are also hearing from the 'Cuse coaching staff these days. They are 2028 five-star wing Kevin Wheatley Jr. of the Masters Academy International in Stow, Mass., 2028 three-star power forward Damian Mojica of The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. and 2028 five-star point guard Malik Moore of Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, N.J.
For the PSA Cardinals so far in the current AAU season, Rogers is averaging 8.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while connecting on 55.6 percent from the field, 27.8 percent from beyond the arc and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.
As far as I can tell, Rogers appears to be a talented and fast-rising prospect in the 2028 class. I'll continue to track his recruitment, and hopefully, the new SU staff under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara will remain in pursuit of the Long Island native.
