Damian Mojica, a 2028 three-star power forward from New York who visited the Hill last month, has landed a scholarship offer from Syracuse basketball, Inside the Loud House has learned. Mojica also shared the news on his social media pages on Monday afternoon.
The 6-foot-8 Mojica was garnering interest from the 'Cuse staff for a while, and now he's got an official offer. A native of Yonkers, N.Y., Mojica is a rising junior at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., which is part of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council ("NEPSAC").

On the AAU circuits this spring and summer, Mojica is competing for the16U team of the Bronx, N.Y.-based PSA Cardinals in Nike’s EYBL league. Several of his PSA Cardinals teammates are receiving interest from the new Syracuse basketball staff under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara.
Ben Lee, an Orange assistant coach, is the lead recruiter for Mojica. Lee invited Mojica to Central New York for an unofficial visit to the 'Cuse in late June, as Inside the Loud House first reported. Mojica's visit went well, and he even got to meet SU legend Carmelo Anthony, who happened to be on the Hill to take in an Orange practice.
Last weekend, amid a live period, Lee and other Syracuse basketball coaches were on hand as the EYBL held a session in Las Vegas. I'm told that Lee watched several of Mojica's games in Las Vegas.
According to his Instagram page, Mojica's early offer sheet also includes schools such as Oral Roberts, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Arkansas-Little Rock, East Carolina, Kennesaw State and Wake Forest.
Syracuse basketball has officially gotten into the mix for 2028 3-star PF Damian Mojica.
Within his class, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite places Mojica at No. 132 overall, No. 17 at power forward and No. 2 in New York. Via the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking, he is No. 163 nationally, No. 34 at at power forward and No. 3 in New York.
Based on Mojica's play of late on the EYBL circuit, he is poised to make the jump to four stars and inside the top 100 nationwide in his class, some scouts and analysts have told me.
In Las Vegas, the PSA Cardinals went 5-0 in the 16U division, lifting the team's overall record to 9-4. The PSA Cardinals have qualified for the EYBL's season-ending Peach Jam, which runs from July 14 to July 19 in North Augusta, S.C.
In the current AAU season, Mojica is averaging 15.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while connecting on 62.5 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 65.4 percent from the free-throw line.
Playing alongside Mojica for the PSA Cardinals in the 16U division are 2028 guard/wing Kingsley Rogers out of the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, Mass., 2028 five-star wing Kevin Wheatley Jr. of the Masters Academy International in Stow, Mass., and 2028 four-star point guard Malik Moore of Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, N.J.
The new Orange staff has re-offered Wheatley, while both Rogers and Moore have heard from 'Cuse coaches since the 2028 contact period opened on June 15. Inside the Loud House will continue to track their recruitments. Regarding Mojica, I'm told that he's interested in taking an official visit to Syracuse basketball at some point.
