The shoe-sponsored AAU circuits are conducting their season-ending tournaments through Sunday, and the Syracuse basketball staff will be in attendance watching various recruiting targets in the 2027 and 2028 classes.
The annual Peach Jam tournament on Nike's EYBL circuit began on Tuesday in North Augusta, S.C. The Adidas 3SSB league is holding its season-ending playoffs, beginning on Thursday, in Rock Hill, S.C., while the Under Armour Association ("UAA") circuit is in Louisville, Ky., starting on Thursday, too.
Amid the summer's final live period that runs from Thursday until Sunday, Inside the Loud House is told by a source that the Orange staff, led by first-year head coach Gerry McNamara, is expected to be in for targets at the Peach Jam and the 3SSB, and it's possible 'Cuse coaches may make a stop at the UAA.
So which players might the Syracuse basketball coaching staff be watching? See below for some potential recruits. Please note that this list is not meant to be fully comprehensive, as it's entirely possible that Orange coaches might be evaluating other prospects. Additionally, the 'Cuse is recruiting certain players listed below harder than others.
Also, the shoe-sponsored circuits have different divisions, both in terms of prospects' ages and for bracketing purposes. For example, some teams that didn't qualify for the Peach Jam are suiting up in the PIT.
