Michael Nnabuife, a 2027 three-star tight end from Baltimore, recently dropped his top six. Syracuse football is on the list.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Nnabuife, a junior at the powerhouse Saint Frances Academy, has a top six of the Orange, Alabama, N.C. State, Maryland, Florida and Michigan State. It's always nice to see the 'Cuse in the mix along with juggernaut programs such as the Crimson Tide.

According to ESPN, within the 2027 class, Nnabuife is a three-star prospect and one of the top players in Maryland.
Syracuse football resides in the top 6 of 3-star TE Michael Nnabuife.
Nnabuife's team, Saint Frances, is 8-1 overall in the 2025 season. In its latest top 25, MaxPreps has the Panthers at No. 1 around the country. In the most recent top-25 composite rankings from Rivals, Saint Frances is No. 2 nationally, trailing only the IMG Academy from Bradenton, Fla.
One of Nnabuife's teammates at Saint Frances is 2026 three-star linebacker Maurice Medley, who verbally committed to the Orange in early December of last year. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Medley, within the 2026 class, is rated as the No. 25 inside linebacker, according to ESPN.
Syracuse football head coach Fran Brown and his top-flight staff are off to a fast start in 2027. The 'Cuse and Sacramento State each have eight verbal pledges in this cycle, tied for the most in the country.
The Orange's 2027 class features one four-star prospect in athlete Tristin Hughes from Ohio, along with numerous three-star players. At the time of this writing, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite placed the 'Cuse 2027 cycle at No. 7 nationwide.
This fall, the Syracuse football coaching staff has hosted a wide range of three-star, four-star and five-star prospects in the 2027 class on game-day visits to the Hill. Much like 2026, the Orange's 2027 cycle has a chance to be stellar on a national scale.
