I've got more names to share for Syracuse basketball's annual Elite Camp that will take place this Saturday, Aug. 23.

Three additional participants whom I've learned about are 2027 four-star shooting guard Patrese Feamster, 2027 point guard Reece Ayala and 2027 guard Ian VanWagner.

As I also recently reported, other players who are expected to compete in this Saturday's Elite Camp include 2028 wing Billy Stanfield III and 2027 combo guard Nazir Anderson, who are both from the Baltimore area.

In late August, the Orange conducts its annual Elite Camp, where high school prospects across different recruiting cycles head to the Hill to suit up and get evaluated by the Syracuse basketball staff. Often, the 'Cuse will dole out scholarship offers to some Elite Camp participants after the event is over.

The 6-foot-4 Feamster is a rising junior at the Friends' Central School in Wynnewood, Pa., near Philadelphia. According to recruiting services, Feamster holds early offers from Albany, East Tennessee State, East Carolina and Old Dominion.

Within the 2027 class, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite places Feamster at No. 96 overall, No. 13 at shooting guard and No. 2 in Pennsylvania. During the latest AAU season, Feamster played at a high level and up a division for the 17U team of the Philadelphia-based Philly Pride in the Under Armour Association ("UAA") league.

Feamster, one of the most efficient scorers in the UAA's 17U division this year, averaged 17 points, three assists and two rebounds per game while hitting on 41 percent from beyond the arc.

The 6-foot-4 Ayala was a standout as a sophomore at the Milton Academy in Milton, Mass. As a junior in the upcoming 2025-26 season, he has transferred to the powerhouse Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H.

Brewster competes in the loaded Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Scholastic ("EYBL Scholastic"). In late June, Syracuse basketball offered a scholarship to 2027 four-star wing/small forward Clyde Walters, who will also play for Brewster in 2025-26.

On the AAU circuit this spring and summer, Ayala suited up for the 16U team of the Boston-based Expressions Elite in Nike's EYBL league. In the EYBL regular season, he averaged 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest.

The 6-foot-2 VanWagner is a prolific-scoring guard at Potsdam High School in Potsdam, N.Y. He has already broken the career scoring record at Potsdam, according to a post on X. In the latest EYBL campaign, VanWagner played for the 16U team of the Albany, N.Y.-based City Rocks, a program that has sent numerous of its alumni to the Orange over the years.

For the City Rocks, he averaged 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per encounter during the EYBL's regular term. At the Nike league's season-ending Peach Jam tournament last month in North Augusta, S.C., VanWagner averaged 5.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

To date, the 'Cuse staff has offered a scholarship to at least 13 prospects in the 2027 class who I'm aware of, and Orange coaches reached out to more than two dozen rising juniors once the contact period for this cycle opened in mid-June of this year.
