Michael Nnabuife, a three-star tight end in the 2027 class who suits up for a powerhouse program in Baltimore, will take an official visit to Syracuse football from May 29 to May 31, he said via his X page.

The Orange staff is recruiting the 6-foot-5, 242-pound Nnabuife hard these days. Last November, he put the 'Cuse in his top six, along with Alabama, N.C. State, Maryland, Florida and Michigan State. SU offered a scholarship to Nnabuife on April 30, 2025.

I first reported that Nnabuife would be on the Hill on Saturday, Jan. 31, for a Syracuse football junior day, as Syracuse basketball played Notre Dame at the JMA Wireless Dome. After that visit, Nnabuife told 247Sports that the Orange was on top in his recruitment.

Syracuse football is heavily involved with 2027 three-star tight end Michael Nnabuife.

Nnabuife is a standout at the juggernaut Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, which in the 2025 season went 9-1 overall and was ranked No. 2 around the country, according to MaxPreps.

Last December, the Panthers won the first-ever Overtime Nationals in Baltimore, defeating Corner Canyon High School from Draper, Utah, by a final score of 37-20. In that game, Nnabuife caught one pass for 18 yards and a touchdown.

Syracuse football coaches appear to have a strong pipeline going with Saint Frances. In late January, 2027 three-star running back/athlete Sa’Nir Brooks, who competes for the Panthers, revealed his verbal commitment to the Orange.

Linebacker/athlete Maurice Medley, who had a fabulous senior season at Saint Frances, is a member of the 'Cuse 2026 class, which has 27 signees and is the highest-ranked Syracuse football cycle in the modern recruiting services era. Per SU Athletics, in the 2025 term, Medley collected 87 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, one interception that he returned for a touchdown, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.

The Orange's 2027 class, meanwhile, stands at eight verbal pledges. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite rates this Syracuse football cycle at No. 7 around the country.
