Syracuse football's 2026 class has moved into the top 10 nationally, according to Rivals.com.

The Orange's 2026 cycle expanded to 13 verbal pledges on Sunday when stellar three-star edge/outside linebacker Kamron Wilson from Florida said on his X page that he had verbally committed to the 'Cuse.

A huge congrats and welcome from Orange Nation to Kamron, who per his X account was on the Hill this weekend for an unofficial visit. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Wilson has scheduled an official visit to Syracuse football for June 13 to June 15, according to his X page.

The 'Cuse staff, led by head coach Fran Brown, offered a scholarship to Wilson on May 9, 2024.

Syracuse football continues to see its 2026 class grow.

Wilson is a standout at Miami Southridge Senior High School. As I've noted on numerous occasions, Orange coaches are recruiting the Sunshine State extremely hard these days, and with much success, I might add.

Wilson, who throughout his recruitment has picked up more than 20 high-major scholarship offers, was electric as a junior at Miami Southridge, tallying 20 sacks, 30 tackles for a loss and 110 total tackles. Those are ridiculous numbers.

Within the 2026 class, several recruiting services place Wilson as a top-50 edge. The industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking, at the time of this writing, had him in the top 500 nationally in his cycle.

Over the past week or so, 'Cuse coaches have expanded their 2026 class to at least 13 verbal commitments. Beyond Wilson, those 2026 prospects who have pledged to the Orange of late include three-star quarterback Zaid Lott of the Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C., three-star athlete EShawn Sutton of Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Fla., and three-star athlete Darnell Stokes Jr. of Indian River High School in Dagsboro, Del.

When I penned this story, the Syracuse football 2026 cycle was No. 9 overall per Rivals.com and No. 12 nationally according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

National analysts, more than once lately, have praised Brown and his coaching staff for their fast start to date with their 2026 class.
