A talented edge in the 2026 class will officially visit Syracuse football later this year, according to a national recruiting analyst.

In a post on X, Rivals.com national analyst John Garcia Jr. said that three-star edge/outside linebacker Kamron Wilson from Florida has some official visits scheduled, including one to the Orange on June 13, which is awesome to hear.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Wilson, according to social media posts, had a stellar junior season for Miami Southridge Senior High School. The 'Cuse staff, led by head coach Fran Brown, continues to recruit the Sunshine State extremely hard.

Wilson, throughout his recruiting process, has picked up more than 20 offers so far from a range of high-major programs, such as California, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Michigan State, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Minnesota, Mississippi State and N.C. State, among others.

Per his X page, Wilson secured a scholarship offer from the Orange on May 9, 2024. Recently, he visited with 'Cuse defensive ends coach Nick Williams and assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson.

Wilson, in the 2024 term, put forth an award-winning performance. He said on X that as a junior, he tallied 20 sacks, 30 tackles for a loss and 110 total tackles, which is pretty remarkable.

Within the 2026 cycle, Rivals.com currently has Wilson as a three-star prospect, the No. 35 edge rusher and the No. 79 player residing in the talent-rich state of Florida.

To date, the Syracuse football coaching staff has received at least nine verbal pledges from high school juniors, including commitments from several four-star prospects and a couple of players who come from the Sunshine State.
