Boeheim's Army is up to 10 players for the upcoming The Basketball Tournament ("TBT"), a $2 million, winner-take-all event that will feature 14 teams this summer.
Per the TBT Web site, Boeheim's Army now has six former Syracuse basketball players and four non-SU guys. It's possible that Boeheim's Army could make more roster additions, but at this juncture, with its first game a week away, the team has likely completed its line-up.
Here are the four non-Orange alums:
•Power forward Jacorey Williams, a 6-foot-9 player who suited up in college for Arkansas and Middle Tennessee State.
•Shooting guard Ty Nichols, a 6-foot-3 player out of Keene State College
•Point guard Tyson Walker, a 6-foot-1 player out of Northeastern and Michigan State
•Center Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu, a 6-foot-10 player out of UT Arlington and Memphis
Most recently, these four guys have all played pro ball overseas for teams in France, Greece and Spain. The six former Syracuse basketball standouts suiting up for Boeheim's Army in the 2026 TBT are:

•Shooting guard Buddy Boeheim
•Guard Eric Devendorf
•Forward Jimmy Boeheim
•Wing Elijah Hughes
•Wing Wes Johnson
If the name Ty Nichols sounds familiar to Boeheim's Army fans, it's because he absolutely crushed our beloved boys last summer. Boeheim's Army was a No. 1 seed in the 2025 TBT, but it lost in the round of 32 to the No. 4 seed We Are D3, 81-78.
Nichols was out of his mind, finishing with 36 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals. He went 13-of-20 from the field and 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. It's nice to have him on the Boeheim's Army roster this summer.
Boeheim's Army is a week away from its 2026 TBT opener.
Back in 2021, Boeheim's Army won the annual summer tournament and the $1 million that came with it. All-time, the squad is 27-10 in the TBT.
As far as this summer's TBT is concerned, Boeheim's Army will first battle a Seton Hall alumni squad, known as Hall In, in a best-of-three series.
The teams will first go toe to toe on Tuesday, July 21, in South Orange, N.J., followed by a second contest on Thursday, July 23, in Syracuse, N.Y. If the squads split those encounters, a third game will take place on Friday, July 24, in Syracuse.
All of Boeheim's Army's games are expected to air on either FS1 or FS2, and they will tip off at 7 pm EST.
