As expected, Syracuse basketball head coach Gerry McNamara and his staff are watching high school recruiting targets amid a live period that runs through Thursday at the annual National Basketball Players Association ("NBPA") Top 100 Camp.
My friend and top scout Aaron Proia, who is on hand at the prestigious event, confirms to me that, on Wednesday, the first day of the live period, McNamara, along with assistant coaches Ben Lee and Jamal Brunt, were in attendance at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Rock Hill, S.C.
My man, let me know if you see any Syracuse coaches in attendance! Appreciate you!!

Top-flight high school players in various recruiting classes are competing in the camp from June 8 to June 11, with the NCAA-permitted evaluation period transpiring on June 10 and June 11.
The NBPA Top 100 Camp, founded in 1994, affords high school prospects the opportunity to participate in skill development, combine drills, scrimmages and educational sessions.

So who might the Syracuse basketball staff be watching at the NBPA Top 100 Camp?
The following camp participants have either received a scholarship offer from the new Orange staff, led by McNamara, or been re-offered by 'Cuse coaches:
•Nasir Anderson, 2027 five-star point guard out of Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
•King Gibson, 2027 five-star point guard out of the Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio
•RJ Moore, 2027 four-star shooting guard out of the Ambassador Christian School in Huntersville, N.C.
•Caleb Ourigou, 2027 four-star center out of the Atlanta-based league Overtime Elite
•Lewis Uvwo, 2027 four-star center out of Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Here are prospects at the NBPA Top 100 Camp who have held some level of interest from the new Syracuse basketball coaching staff. They also may have been offered, and it's just not public at this time:
•Declan Griffiths, 2027 four-star wing out of The Newman School in Boston
•Isaiah Hamilton, 2028 five-star wing out of the Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla.
•Payton Jones, 2027 four-star point guard out of Beaumont United High School in Beaumont, Texas
•Moussa Kamissoko, 2027 five-star wing/forward out of Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y.
•Markus Kerr, 2027 four-star wing out of the Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H.
•Kager Knueppel, 2027 four-star forward out of Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee
•J’Lon Lyons, 2027 four-star point guard out of the Clinton Grace Christian School in Clinton, Md.
•Godson Okokoh, 2027 four-star forward out of Iowa United Prep in Des Moines, Iowa
There are also players at the camp who held offers from the former SU staff under Adrian Autry, with the new Syracuse basketball coaching staff possibly evaluating some of these prospects:
•Zion Green, 2027 five-star forward out of the Mt. Zion Preparatory Academy in Lanham, Md.
•CJ Rosser, 2027 five-star power forward out of the Southeastern Preparatory Academy in Orlando, Fla.
•Michai White, 2028 five-star point guard out of the Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H.
•Paul Osaruyi, 2027 five-star big man out of CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix
•Will Brunson, 2028 four-star small forward out of the Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, N.J.
•DJ Hawkins, 2027 four-star wing out of the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn.
•Kevin Wheatley Jr., 2028 five-star wing out of the Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H.
Of course, McNamara and his assistants also could be in pursuit of other NBPA Top 100 Camp participants whom I haven't seen any further information on, at least for the time being.
