In the aftermath of Syracuse football upsetting No. 6 Miami on Saturday afternoon at the JMA Wireless Dome to finish the 2024 regular season at 9-3 overall, the outpouring of beautiful sentiments on social media has proven extensive, to say the least.

First-year head coach Fran Brown, who is also a first-time head coach at the collegiate level, and his top-flight staff have guided this Orange 2024 roster on a fabulous journey, including those nine regular-season wins, a tie for No. 4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings after the 'Cuse was projected to finish at No. 12 in the league race, a third straight bowl game for the program, and a likely spot in the top-25 rankings this week.

What the Orange has achieved this term is remarkable, and the team has a chance to get to 10 triumphs in a season for the first time since 2018 if Syracuse football can conquer its foe in the upcoming bowl game.

Understandably, after the 'Cuse stormed back from a 21-point, first-half deficit to beat the Hurricanes by a final count of 42-38, the reactions on X since that outcome transpired have been absolutely sensational. Just poignant, wonderful, funny, awesome and tremendous.

The Syracuse football fan base and the greater 'Cuse community are loving the Orange's win over Miami.

Since the 'Cuse conquered the Hurricanes, I've been retweeting stuff non-stop. It's a blast, although it's also hard to keep up. That's a good problem to have.

In any event, people with connections to Syracuse University and SU Athletics are chiming in right and left.

Elected officials. Famous sportscasters who attended SU. National and ACC media members. Current Syracuse football coaches and players. Former Orange players. Coaches of other 'Cuse sports squads. The love within the Syracuse University family, of which I'm a proud member, is just quite touching, from my perspective.

Syracuse football verbal commits in the 2025 class, who can officially sign with the program later this week during the early signing period. Additionally, Orange recruiting targets in various cycles. There was just an astounding number of high school prospects on the Hill visiting the 'Cuse this weekend on official or unofficial visits, and they witnessed one of the best wins ever for Syracuse football.

Those who know me well know that I'm a fairly emotional and sensitive dude. I love my alma mater through the good times and the bad times, and right now is a special time for Syracuse football. I'm unbelievably proud of this program and SU sports, and I am confident that Brown will lead the Orange to even greater heights in the seasons to come.

What a lovely time for the 315.
