Syracuse basketball keeps it within the 'Cuse family with new director of operations

Ryan Beaury is the latest SU alum to become a member of head coach Gerry McNamara's Syracuse basketball staff.

Syracuse Athletics announced this week that Beaury has joined the Orange program as director of operations. He was in the same role for the past two seasons at Siena, under McNamara, who did a terrific job rebuilding the Saints and was hired to lead the 'Cuse last month, replacing Adrian Autry.

A huge congrats and welcome from Orange Nation to Ryan! As SU basketball's director of operations, Beaury will manage the team's office, assist with coordinating travel, serve as the liaison with department support services and organize recruiting visits.

Beaury, as Syracuse basketball's operations director, replaces the longtime director of operations, Peter Corasaniti, who has been appointed to a newly created role as associate athletics director of men's basketball and operations at Syracuse University

SU alum Ryan Beaury is coming back home as Syracuse basketball's director of operations.

Beaury earned his bachelor's degree from Syracuse in 2021 and his master's two years later, in 2023. He was a student manager for SU hoops for four years, including the final two seasons as head student manager.

In 2021, Beaury was appointed as a graduate assistant, serving in that role for two years, and then he was named video coordinator before the 2023-24 stanza. His dad, Brian Beaury, was a special assistant to McNamara at Siena for the past two terms. Brian Beaury, previously, led Division II program College of St. Rose to an impressive 654 wins at that program's helm.
