It's proven a tremendous senior season for Syracuse basketball 2025 signee Aaron Womack III, a three-star wing from the Milwaukee area.

The 6-foot-5 Womack, per On3, is the No. 32 small forward and the No. 7 prospect from Wisconsin in the 2025 class. He's a top-275 national prospect, according to several recruiting services, but as I've opined for a while now, Womack is supremely under-rated in the high school senior cycle.

In late January of this year, according to media reports, Womack was named by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association as one of six finalists for the Mr. Basketball Award, which is doled out annually to the top senior hoops player in the state.

Per a story on jsonline.com, the winner of the Mr. Basketball Award in Wisconsin for the 2024-25 campaign will be unveiled at the state tournament, which will take place from March 20 to March 22 at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.

A recent piece by Rod Burks on tmj4.com noted that Womack has been a starter, since his freshman year, on the varsity team at Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay, Wis. And Womack has put forth an absolutely stellar senior stanza.

Syracuse basketball 2025 3-star signee Aaron Womack III is a high-level shooter and scorer, experts say.

In late September of 2024, Womack verbally committed to the Orange. He's part of a four-member 2025 class for the 'Cuse that currently ranks No. 10 around the country, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

Per a recent Instagram post, Womack this season has become Dominican's all-time leading scorer in program history. A huge congrats to Aaron!

During 2024-25, as a senior, Womack has averaged an impressive 30 points per game, according to Burks. I've come across posts on X noting that Womack, earlier this year, dropped 50 points and 46 points, respectively, in two victories for Dominican.

Womack's head coach at Dominican, Steve Showalter, had this to say about the Syracuse basketball commit in Burks' article. "I've coached hundreds of guys. He's one of the best for sure. His desire to win is unmatched, and he does whatever he can to influence the game."

Last October, after Womack verbally pledged to the Orange, On3 national analyst/scout Jamie Shaw told me: "Shooting is his thing. Aaron Womack has nice length and good shooting touch with range, especially off the catch. He plays with confidence and given his athletic dimensions should provide some defensive upside."
