Syracuse basketball recruiting enthusiasts will have plenty of enticing games to monitor throughout the 2024-25 campaign in high school hoops, as Orange commits and targets battle in a variety of showcase events and other regular-season contests.

For 'Cuse fans, we'll focus on commits in the 2025 cycle, as well as recruiting targets in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes.

In the high school senior cycle, Syracuse basketball has officially signed four players in this national top-10 class. They are five-star forward Sadiq White Jr., four-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony, four-star guard Luke Fennell and three-star wing Aaron Womack.

The Orange coaching staff also has scholarship offers out there to numerous four-star and five-star prospects in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes. Let's look at some juicy upcoming encounters with 'Cuse recruiting ties.

Syracuse basketball commits and recruits in exciting games during the 2024-25 season.

On Friday, Dec. 13, from the UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y., the LuHi Holiday Invitational will take place. At 8 pm that night, the top-five powerhouse Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., will go toe to toe with the top-20 Sierra Canyon SchoolΒ in Chatsworth, Calif., with ESPN+ providing live streaming coverage.

Long Island Lutheran is led by top-30 national prospect Anthony. Over at Sierra Canyon, its roster features 2025 four-star wing Bryce James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, and 2026 four-star small forward Maximo Adams, who holds a scholarship offer from the Orange.

Also in December, a loaded event will transpire in Hyattsville, Md., called the National High School Hoops Festival. As part of this showcase, on Saturday, Dec. 7, the top-10 IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., will play the top-20 St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Chantilly, Va.

One of IMG's standout seniors is the top-15 national prospect White, while St. Paul VI features All-American Jordan Smith Jr., a five-star shooting guard and a top-five overall player in the 2026 cycle who has a 'Cuse offer and unofficially visited Syracuse basketball in late September.

The following day, on Sunday, Dec. 8, IMG will square off versus another high-quality squad from the DMV, Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Md. Two leaders of Bishop McNamara are 2026 five-star wing and top-15 national prospect Qayden Samuels and 2026 four-star guard and top-80 overall player Prince-Alexander Moody. Both possess scholarship offers from the Orange staff.

IMG and Long Island Lutheran are each members of the 14-team Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Scholastic ("EYBL Scholastic"). According to MaxPreps, these two groups will compete at the Bob McKillop Invitational on February 15, with Long Island Lutheran serving as the host while White and Anthony face off. Fun.
