Syracuse basketball four-star and five-star recruiting targets have received Naismith All-America honors for their stellar performances during the 2024-25 season, according to a March 5 announcement.
On the Naismith All-America third team is 2026 five-star shooting guard Jordan Smith Jr., a standout junior at St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Chantilly, Va. Smith, a top-five national prospect, was also an All-American in 2023-24 as a sophomore.

The Orange coaching staff is recruiting Smith extremely hard. He took an unofficial visit to the Hill last September and holds a scholarship offer from the 'Cuse.
Syracuse basketball targets are All-Americans in 2024-25.
Three top-flight prospects who possess Orange offers landed an honorable mention nod for the Naismith All-America teams.
They are 2026 four-star point guard Miles Sadler, 2026 five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. and 2027 five-star forward Baba Oladotun. Another player to get an honorable mention nod for the Naismith All-America squads is 2026 five-star point guard Dylan Mingo, who has garnered interest from the 'Cuse coaching staff.
Sadler, a top-30 national prospect, is a junior at CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix. Three of his teammates at CIA Bella Vista have also secured scholarship offers from Syracuse basketball.
Like Smith, Rippey appears to be a priority recruit for the Orange in the 2026 cycle. Rippey, a top-20 national prospect who stars for the Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., took an unofficial visit to Syracuse basketball in February of 2024.
Oladotun is ranked No. 1 around the country in the 2027 class by several recruiting services. He is a sophomore at James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, Md.
Mingo, a top-10 national prospect, is a junior at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y. That's the same program of four-star shooting guard and top-30 national prospect Kiyan Anthony, who is part of the Orange's four-member 2025 class that's currently No. 10 nationally, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
Another Syracuse basketball 2025 signee is Sadiq White Jr., a four-star forward and a top-30 national prospect who has put forth a solid senior year for the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Both White and Anthony have been selected to play in the Iverson Classic All-America game on Saturday, May 3, in Hampton, Va.
I'm a tad surprised that White didn't at least receive an honorable mention designation for the Naismith All-America teams.
