Kiyan Anthony and Sadiq White, Syracuse basketball 2025 signees, will not win a high school national title this season.

Anthony, a four-star shooting guard from New York City, and White, a four-star forward from Charlotte, N.C., suited up this week at the 10-team Chipotle Nationals in Fishers, Ind., near Indianapolis, an annual event that crowns a national champion in high school hoops.

The 6-foot-5 Anthony is a standout with Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., which entered the 2025 Chipotle Nationals as arguably the hottest team around the country.

White, meanwhile, is a key contributor at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Long Island Lutheran and IMG are both a part of the 14-member Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Scholastic ("EYBL Scholastic").

In their opening games at this season's Chipotle Nationals, Long Island Lutheran lost in a heart-breaker while IMG got blown out.

Syracuse basketball 2025 4-star commits are bounced from a national tournament.

At the Chipotle Nationals, Long Island Lutheran was the No. 3 seed, and IMG was the No. 8 seed. CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix, also an EYBL Scholastic school, was the No. 5 seed, and its roster includes four players who hold scholarship offers from the Orange.

In overtime, the No. 6 seed Prolific Prep in Napa Valley, Calif., beat Long Island Lutheran by a final count of 81-80, according to a box score provided by our friends at Legit Sport Stats. In 31 minutes, Anthony produced 22 points, and he made three shots from deep.

Long Island Lutheran junior Dylan Mingo, a 2026 five-star point guard who has received interest from Syracuse basketball coaches, also tallied 22 points, along with six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.

IMG lost to the No. 9 seed Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah, by a final of 75-57. In the setback, White had nine points, 12 boards, one assist, two blocks and one steal. In 2024-25, he was named to the EYBL Scholastic All-Conference second team.

CIA Bella Vista saw its term come to a close with a 70-60 loss to the No. 4 seed Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. CIA Bella Vista prospects who possess 'Cuse offers are 2026 four-star point guard Miles Sadler, 2027 five-star big man Paul Osaruyi, 2026 four-star guard Rokiem Green and 2026 four-star center Aliou Dioum.

In this contest, Sadler and Green were tremendous on the offensive end of the floor. Sadler finished with 25 points, while Green added 22 points. Shooting-wise, these two players were a combined 15-of-31 from the field.
