Syracuse basketball four-star recruiting targets in the 2027 class are highly placed in a refreshed set of national rankings from On3 that includes the top-100 prospects in this cycle.
As far as I can tell, the Orange coaching staff has offered scholarships to at least four players in the 2027 class, according to various media reports and social media posts.
The 'Cuse will likely offer more scholarships to high school sophomores in the future. That's because beginning on June 15 of this year, the contact recruiting period opens for the 2027 cycle, enabling college coaches to initiate direct communication with prospects in this class.
To date, those 2027 players who have picked up offers from the Orange staff include wing/forward Moussa Kamissoko of Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., forward Baba Oladotun of James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, Md., forward Zion Green of Camden High School in Camden, N.J., and power forward/center Paul Osaruyi of CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix.
The 'Cuse offered both Oladotun and Green in late June of last year. Kamissoko scored his Syracuse basketball offer in late December of 2024, while Osaruyi secured his Orange offer in late October of last year.
Syracuse basketball 2027 four-star targets are in the top 15 around the country.
Moussa Kamissoko
New 2027 rankings from On3: No. 7 nationally, No. 3 at small forward and No. 1 in New York

New 2027 rankings from On3: No. 9 nationally, No. 5 at small forward and No. 1 in Maryland
Zion Green
New 2027 rankings from On3: No. 11 nationally, No. 7 at small forward and No. 1 in Pennsylvania
Paul Osaruyi
New 2027 rankings from On3: No. 12 nationally and No. 2 at power forward (state wasn't listed)
Kamissoko is teammates at Long Island Lutheran with Kiyan Anthony, a four-star shooting guard who is one of four signees in Syracuse basketball top-10 national class in the 2025 cycle.
Three other CIA Bella Vista players also landed offers from the Orange staff around the time that Osaruyi did. The others are 2026 four-star point guard Miles Sadler, 2026 four-star guard Rokiem Greenand and 2026 four-star center Aliou Dioum.
Multiple other recruiting services currently have Oladotun as the No. 1 national prospect in the 2027 class.
As this summer arrives, I'll keep an eye out for other players in the 2027 cycle who are offered by the 'Cuse. Some high school sophomores to monitor might include numerous prospects from this class who competed at the Orange's annual Elite Camp in late August of last year.
