Syracuse 5-star targets Moussa Kamissoko, Kaleena Smith to play on national TV in Las Vegas

Syracuse men's and women's basketball recruiting targets are scheduled to play in an elite preseason showcase early next month in Sin City.

Per recent social media posts, the annual Border League will return to Las Vegas on October 4, with four powerhouse matchups that will air on ESPN networks and feature various Orange recruits in the 2027 and 2028 classes.

Here is the schedule:

•Lady Knights in Ontario, Calif., against the St. James Academy in Springfield, Va.

•Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., against the Golden Knights in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.
5:00 pm EST, ESPN2

•Fear of God in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., against the Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio
7:00 pm EST, ESPN2

•Southeastern Preparatory Academy in Orlando, Fla., against the AZ Compass Prep School in Chandler, Ariz.
9:00 pm EST, ESPN 2

Syracuse basketball targets will be in Las Vegas next month for a preseason event.

The Lady Knights are led by 2027 five-star point guard and No. 1 national prospect Kaleena Smith. The 5-foot-6 Smith, who has already put forth a ridiculous high school career as she enters her senior season at the Ontario Christian School, took an official visit to the Orange women's program this past February. She has numerous big-time suitors, although Inside the Loud House is told that the 'Cuse staff continues to pursue Smith.

On the boys' side in high school hoops, Prolific Prep is expected to compete for a national title in the upcoming campaign, experts have told Inside the Loud House. The Orange staff has been pursuing 2027 five-star point guard Nasir Anderson, although he canceled an official visit to SU that was scheduled for this past weekend.

In terms of other Prolific Prep standouts, 2028 five-star point guard Michai White recently picked up a Syracuse offer, while the 'Cuse is showing some level of interest in 2028 five-star center Bamba Touray. The Syracuse basketball staff was recently on hand for an open gym at Prolific Prep, Inside the Loud House has reported.

Orange 2027 priority target Moussa Kamissoko, a five-star wing/forward, has transferred to Spire for his senior year. He took an official visit to the 'Cuse in early September, while Syracuse has been in for him at least twice at Spire open gyms since the fall recruiting period opened on September 9.

Over at Southeastern Prep, 2028 four-star combo guard Ka'Shawn Gill recently transferred there. He was offered by SU in July. Earlier this month, Syracuse basketball assistant coach Ben Lee attended AZ Compass Prep's Pro Day, and Inside the Loud House is told that the Orange is potentially evaluating Darren Ford, a 2028 four-star guard with the Dragons.
