It’s that time of year again. The ACC Network doesn’t have any live sporting events to show, so it gives every ACC school one day of 24 consecutive hours of their best games from the past year across all sports.

This Wednesday, July 16, is Syracuse’s takeover. Outside of actual game days, this is among the best days of the year for Orange fans. To help you plan your day accordingly, here is a schedule of the Syracuse games you can re-watch on Wednesday.

12:00 AM - men’s lacrosse ACC Championship Game vs Duke

If you’re up late on Tuesday, you might as well enjoy the Syracuse takeover kickoff, which features the men’s lacrosse team in the ACC Championship Game. Gary Gait’s team took over the game late in the first quarter and throughout the second quarter, ultimately hanging on for a narrow win.

2:00 AM - men’s soccer vs Notre Dame

This is the first of two men’s soccer games you can see on Wednesday, which isn’t bad for a team that only went 7-7-3 last season. In early October, the Orange pulled off an impressive win over the Fighting Irish. All three goals in this game came early in the second half, so keep that in mind.

4:00 AM - women’s soccer vs St. Bonaventure

Despite going 6-10-2 last year, the women’s soccer team had some highlights, including a victory over in-state foe St. Bonaventure. The Orange struck early and often in a 3-0 victory.

6:00 AM - women’s field hockey ACC Tournament quarterfinals vs Virginia

If you didn’t know, the Syracuse field hockey team has regularly been a top-20 program in recent years. As you might expect, the ACC is full of quality teams, so the ACC Tournament has a high level of competition. Despite coming up short in the semifinals, Syracuse had a compelling 1-0 win over Virginia in the quarterfinals that early-bird Orange fans will enjoy.

8:00 AM - women’s volleyball vs Notre Dame

The Orange volleyball team was just 3-17 in ACC play last season. But one of those was an impressive comeback against Notre Dame. After dropping the first two sets, the Orange came storming back to win the next three sets for a much-needed victory.

10:00 AM - men’s basketball vs Virginia

One of these years, we’ll get back to men’s basketball being a highlight of Syracuse takeover day. This year, we’ll have to settle for late morning being the only appearance from Adrian Autry’s team. To be fair, even with a losing season already secured, the Orange showed up on Senior Day, crushing Virginia behind a double-double by Eddie Lampkin and 15 points apiece from Lucas Taylor and Jyare Davis.

12:00 PM - women’s basketball vs Boston College

Amidst a lost season for the women’s basketball team, they also managed to close out the regular season with a victory. Georgia Woolley and Sophie Burrows combined for 35 points in an 82-57 shellacking of B.C., avenging a 41-point loss to the Eagles earlier in the season.

2:00 PM - men’s soccer vs Pitt

This was the highlight of last year’s men's soccer season, and it’s a can’t-miss game that I got to enjoy in person. On the heels of a 6-1 loss to Clemson, Syracuse bounced back against a Pitt team that was ranked No. 3 in the nation at the time. Even if you’re not binge-watching the entire Syracuse takeover, this game is a nice mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

4:00 PM - football vs Georgia Tech

There were many football victories from Fran Brown’s first season that the ACC Network could have chosen to replay. This game against Georgia Tech was the first win that made anyone think this could be a special season. Things got a little dicey at the end, but the 381 passing yards and four touchdowns from Kyle McCord were enough to give Syracuse their second of 10 wins in 2024.

7:00 PM - men’s lacrosse NCAA Tournament vs Harvard

Syracuse had two incredible victories during the NCAA Tournament, finally getting back to the Final Four. The ACC Network is choosing to air the first-round win over Harvard. This game looked bleak at times, with the Orange trailing 8-2 late in the second quarter. But it turned out to be one of the most amazing comebacks in program history, and a game worth re-watching.

9:00 PM - football vs Miami

The ACC Network definitely saved the best for last, as this game was the biggest highlight of the past year for Syracuse athletics. Miami went ahead 21-0 early, but the Orange outscored the Hurricanes 42-17 the rest of the way for a Dome win we’ll be talking about for many years to come.
