Syracuse basketball has made another offer in the 2028 class.

According to multiple media reports and recruiting services, the Orange staff has offered a scholarship to 2028 small forward Will Brunson, who is a stock-rising prospect in this class, national analysts and scouts say.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound Brunson attends the Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, N.J. This AAU season, he is competing for the 15U team of the New York City-based Renaissance Hoops in Nike's EYBL league.

Per a post on X from top 247Sports national analyst Dushawn London, this past weekend, Brunson landed offers from Syracuse basketball, Rutgers and La Salle. According to his Instagram page, other offers for Brunson include Auburn, which made the Final Four of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Fairfield and Rider.

Syracuse basketball has gotten into the mix for 2028 SF Will Brunson.

Last month, during two EYBL sessions while playing for Renaissance Hoops, Brunson averaged 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while making 35.6 percent from the field, 23.1 percent from beyond the arc and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Per the EYBL Web site, Renaissance Hoops is expected to suit up in the season-ending Peach Jam tournament in the 15U division that will take place in July in North Augusta, S.C.

This past weekend was a scholastic live period where college coaches, including the Syracuse basketball staff, could watch prospects in person as they played for their high school programs.

The Orange, as I reported late last week, was on hand at several sites. According to analysts and scouts, the 'Cuse was at Philly Live in Philadelphia, where Brunson and Rutgers Prep were competing. It's not clear to me if Syracuse basketball was in attendance for Brunson, although since the Orange offered him, I assume a member of the 'Cuse staff did check him out at Philly Live.

While it's early in the 2028 cycle - these players are entering their sophomore years - Syracuse basketball coaches have made a handful of offers in this class. Besides Brunson, they include five-star shooting guard Colton Hiller of Coatesville Area High School in Coatesville, Pa., four-star wing Xavier Skipworth of the Bullis School in Potomac, Md., and point guard Tyylon Ennis of Pearland High School in Pearland, Texas.

The Orange is also showing an interest in 2028 prospects such as wing Billy Stanfield III of Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md., and forward Jaylen Allen of the Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.
