Canadian prospect Antwan Raymond, a four-star running back in the 2025 class, took an unofficial visit to Syracuse football this past weekend, he noted on X.

Now the 5-foot-11, 200-pound Raymond, a nationally ranked junior, has locked in an official visit to the Orange for mid-June.

According to a post on his X page, Raymond plans to officially visit the 'Cuse program from June 14 from June 16, which is the same weekend that several other Syracuse football targets will be making trips to Central New York.

Last month, on February 11, Raymond said via X that he had received a scholarship offer from the new Orange coaching staff, which is led by head coach and ace recruiter Fran Brown.

Four-star junior running back Antwan Raymond has scheduled an official visit to Syracuse football.

Throughout his recruiting process to date, Raymond has landed nearly 30 offers from a range of high-major programs, including Arizona, Miami, Kansas State, Auburn, Boston College, Kansas, Maryland, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Indiana, South Carolina and Texas A&M, among others.

Last weekend, Raymond was one of numerous Orange recruits on the SU campus taking unofficial visits. The 'Cuse coaching staff, in recent days, has secured several verbal commitments from 2025 prospects, and at the time of this writing, Syracuse football had at least seven verbal pledges among high school juniors.

Raymond, who is from Montreal, spent his junior year during the 2023 term at Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Fla. Per his bio on the MaxPreps Web site, in 2023, Raymond rushed for 1,884 yards and scored 22 touchdowns, while also picking up 94 receiving yards.

When I wrote this article, Rivals.com rated him as four stars and the No. 22 running back in his class. Over at the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking, Raymond checked in as three stars, No. 473 overall, No. 40 at his position and No. 66 in Florida.

Other Orange recruiting targets who are eyeing official visits to the Hill during the weekend of June 14 to June 16 include 2025 four-star athlete/wide receiver Jeff Exinor Jr. of the McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Md., 2025 four-star running back Kentrell Rinehart of Westland High School in Galloway, Ohio, and 2025 four-star cornerback/athlete Dawayne Galloway Jr. of Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio.
