Four-star cornerback/athlete Dawayne Galloway Jr. from Ohio, a consensus top-200 national prospect in the 2025 class, plans to officially visit Syracuse football next month.

While he has many impressive suitors, and the 6-foot, 175-pound Galloway appears to have a high interest in the Orange, a Big Ten Conference powerhouse is garnering some analyst buzz for him.

At the time of this writing, Michigan, which this past season won the College Football Playoff national championship, had at least three analyst predictions in its direction for Galloway between the 247Sports Web site and Rivals.com.

Additionally, when I penned this article, the Wolverines stood No. 1 in Galloway's recruitment, and by a large margin, according to On3's recruiting prediction machine.

Now, this doesn't mean that Galloway is definitely going to pick Michigan when all is said and done. Recruitments can ebb and flow. What's more, Galloway has some official visits coming up, including one scheduled to the 'Cuse during the weekend of June 14 to June 16.

Per the 247Sports Web site, Galloway has landed nearly 30 high-major offers throughout his recruiting process. The new Orange staff, led by head coach Fran Brown, offered Galloway a scholarship on December 20 of last year, per his X page.

Galloway is a standout at Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio, where he also runs track and field.

In late February of this year, he disclosed a top 12 of Syracuse football, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Colorado, West Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, Purdue, Texas A&M, UCF and Penn State.

The previous month, in January, Galloway was among numerous 2025 prospects on the SU campus during one of the Orange's junior days.

Rivals.com, at the time of this writing, placed Galloway at No. 108 nationwide, No. 10 at cornerback and No. 5 in Ohio within the 2025 class.

The industry-generated 247Sports Composite had him at No. 116 overall, No. 13 at cornerback and No. 5 in Ohio.

Over at the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking, Galloway checked in at No. 132 nationally, No. 15 at cornerback and No. 6 in Ohio.
