Syracuse Football: Detailing the latest flurry of 4-star, nationally ranked commits

Syracuse football, led by head coach and ace recruiter Fran Brown, continues to score commitments seemingly by the day.
Lately, the Orange staff has secured pledges from numerous four-star and three-star recruits who are nationally ranked across the 2024, 2025 and 2026 recruiting cycles.
This past Saturday on the Hill, the 'Cuse conducted its annual spring game, and this year's event set an attendance record, according to SU Athletics.
At the game, a boatload of Syracuse football commits and recruiting targets were on hand, according to 247Sports analyst and reporter Mike McAllister. Several of those in attendance have, in recent days, pledged to the Orange.
Let's review some of the latest prospects who have committed to Syracuse football.
D'Antae Sheffey
Four-star running back in the 2026 class
Listed at 6-foot and 190 pounds
Attends Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Pa.
Offered a scholarship by the 'Cuse in January of 2023
Ranked No. 250 nationally, No. 20 at running back and No. 7 in Pennslyvania, per the 247Sports Composite
Haleem Muhammad
Three-star defensive end in the 2025 class
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds
Attends The Pennington School in Pennington, N.J.
Offered a scholarship by the 'Cuse in June of 2023
Ranked No. 605 nationally, No. 60 at defensive lineman and No. 20 in New Jersey, per the 247Sports Composite
Terrell Wilfong
Three-star wide receiver in the 2025 class
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 176 pounds
Attends West Orange High School in West Orange, N.J.
Offered a scholarship by the 'Cuse in February of 2024

Ziyyon Bredell

Daunte Bacheyie

Attends the Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse
Offered a scholarship by the 'Cuse in April of this year
Vito Shevchenko
Offensive tackle in the 2024 class
Listed at 6-foot-7 and 291 pounds
Attended the Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Fla.
