Syracuse football already has a top-10 class nationwide in the 2025 cycle, and the ‘Cuse staff will soon know whether it has added more verbal commits into the fold.

According to media reports and social media posts, multiple Orange 2025 four-star and three-star recruits have set their upcoming decision dates.

Several of these ‘Cuse targets in the rising high school senior cycle have already taken unofficial visits to the Hill, and a couple of them also plan to officially visit Syracuse football in the coming weeks.

In this piece, we’re discussing three-star quarterback/athlete Quentin Murphy, four-star running back Kentrell Rinehart, four-star quarterback Malik Washington, and three-star defensive end Tommy Rupley.

Syracuse football 2025 recruits will make their commitment announcements soon.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Murphy, who attends the Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School in Little Rock, Ark., was offered by the Orange in early January of this year. He plans to make his college choice on June 1.

He visited the ‘Cuse in April. The previous month, in March, Murphy named a top three of Syracuse football, Georgia Tech and Arkansas.

Last week, the entire Orange coaching staff was expected to visit Murphy, according to 247Sports analyst Mike McAllister. The ‘Cuse, at the time of this writing, had some buzz for the top-500 national prospect on both the 247Sports and On3 Web sites.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Rinehart, a top-25 running back out of Westland High School in Galloway, Ohio, said on his X page that he will make his college decision on July 5.

Offered by Syracuse football on December 20 of last year, Rinehart unofficially visited the program this past January for one of the Orange’s junior days, and he will go on an official visit to the ‘Cuse from June 14 to June 16.

When I wrote this column, On3’s recruiting prediction machine had Syracuse football in the No. 2 spot for Rinehart, only trailing N.C. State, which is another one of his finalists.

This brings us to the 6-foot-5, 200-pound Washington, who is rated in the top 300 nationally and in the top 20 at quarterback, according to multiple recruiting services.

A recent article from 247Sports states that Washington is eyeing a commitment announcement during the weekend of June 28. He also unofficially visited the Orange for a junior day in January of this year, and Washington will officially visit Syracuse football during the weekend that begins on June 7.

The new ‘Cuse staff re-offered Washington, an elite signal-caller at the Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Md., in mid-December of 2023.

For the time being, Virginia Tech has some analyst buzz in Washington’s recruitment on Rivals.com. He officially visited the Hokies in April.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Rupley, offered a scholarship by Syracuse football about a month ago, says via his X page that he will announce his college decision this Friday, May 24.

Per social media, he appears to have a list of eight finalists, including the Orange. Rupley goes to the Belmont Hill School in Belmont, Mass.

When I authored this story, Duke, another one of his finalists, had some buzz for Rupley between the 247Sports Web site and Rivals.com.
