Kiyan Anthony, the four-star shooting guard from New York City and Syracuse basketball 2025 priority recruit, holds around 20 high-major scholarship offers at this juncture in his recruiting process.

He's also receiving interest from some newer suitors, according to recent media reports and social media posts from national recruiting analysts.

The 6-foot-5 Anthony, rated as high as No. 29 nationally in the rising high school senior class by On3, has noted in a couple of recent interviews that he's eyeing some additional campus visits in the coming months, including another trip to the Orange.

In a recent post on X from On3 national reporter Joe Tipton, Anthony says that he's looking at potential upcoming visits to Auburn, Ohio State, and Indiana. The Hoosiers have been pursuing Anthony for a while now, and I had seen some reports indicating that the Tigers are displaying an interest in him.

However, Tipton's X post is the first time I've come across a mention of the Buckeyes out of the Big Ten Conference showing an interest in Anthony, who is the son of Syracuse basketball legend and long-time NBA star Carmelo Anthony.

Syracuse basketball, though, appears to be in strong shape with Kiyan Anthony.

Last month, in a piece from top writer Charlie Parent on zagsblog.com, it was reported that Kiyan Anthony could take another trip to the Orange as well as Florida State, along with potential visits to schools such as Arizona State, Indiana, Tennessee, and Auburn.

The 'Cuse staff offered a scholarship to Anthony in November of 2022. He took an official visit to the Hill in late October of last year and has also officially visited the Seminoles.

As I noted in another recent column, Syracuse basketball is receiving some analyst buzz in Anthony's recruitment on the On3 Web site and Rivals.com.

This spring, Anthony has caught the attention of numerous national analysts and scouts for his performances while suiting up for the 17U squad of the Baltimore-based Team Melo in Nike’s EYBL league.

In recent EYBL sessions, he has played alongside 2025 four-star point guard Tyler Jackson from Baltimore, who holds a 'Cuse offer and took an official visit to Syracuse basketball in late January of this year.

Last month, when the EYBL held a session in Indianapolis amid an NCAA live period, the Orange coaching staff was in attendance for at least two of Team Melo's games.

Anthony, a rising senior at the powerhouse Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., could trim his list of collegiate contenders still in the running for him soon, and I've seen some reports indicating he could make a commitment announcement in November or December of this year.

Within the 2025 class, both the industry-generated 247Sports Composite and the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking currently place Anthony in the top 40 nationwide, in the top eight at shooting guard, and the No. 1 prospect coming out of New York state.
