New York City four-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony, one of the hottest 2025 prospects on the AAU circuit this spring, says that he wants to visit Syracuse basketball again, along with several other schools, according to multiple recent media reports.
The 6-foot-5 Anthony, offered a scholarship by the Orange in November of 2022, took an official visit to the 'Cuse in late October of last year. He has also officially visited fellow Atlantic Coast Conference school Florida State.
In a recent interview with top writer Charlie Parent on zagsblog.com, it was noted that Anthony is looking to make several additional campus visits after the summer, trim his list of contenders in the near future, and make his college decision this November or December.
Parent says that Anthony plans to visit both Syracuse basketball and Florida State again, while also eyeing trips to Arizona State, which recently offered him, Indiana, Tennessee and Auburn, should the Tigers offer Anthony. Auburn is currently showing interest in him.
Other recent reports from recruiting analysts have confirmed that Anthony wants to take another trip to the 'Cuse, while also seeing schools such as Indiana and Tennessee.
Syracuse basketball will likely get another visit from 2025 four-star priority target Kiyan Anthony.
Per 247Sports, Anthony has amassed nearly 20 scholarship offers throughout his recruitment. Given how well he has played to date this spring in grassroots basketball, it wouldn't surprise me if more high-major offers arrive for Anthony.
Without question, though, Syracuse basketball is one of the favorites for him, if not the favorite. What's more, Orange coaches clearly view Anthony as one of their top priority targets in the 2025 class.
Last weekend, amid an NCAA live period, the Syracuse basketball staff was in attendance for a couple of Anthony's games as he played at an ultra-high level for the 17U squad of the Baltimore-based Team Melo in Nike’s EYBL league, which conducted a session in Indianapolis.
Through three sessions on the EYBL circuit, with a fourth transpiring this weekend, Anthony has proven a top-10 scorer in the 17U division, averaging more than 20 points per contest.
Anthony, a rising senior at the powerhouse Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., is the No. 29 national prospect in the 2025 cycle, per On3.
Both of the industry-generated rating systems, the 247Sports Composite and the On3 Industry Ranking, have him in the top 40 around the country in his class.
By extension, all the primary recruiting services place Anthony as a top-10 shooting guard and the No. 1 prospect coming out of New York state.
