On Sunday, 2025 four-star wing Ryder Frost revealed via his Instagram page that he was on an official visit to Syracuse basketball.

The 6-foot-6 Frost, a fast-rising prospect in his class who recently vaulted into the top 100 nationally, received a scholarship offer from the Orange staff in late May, and he had indicated in media reports following that offer that he was highly interested in making a trip to the Hill.

First and foremost, I hope that Ryder's official visit to the 'Cuse has gone, or is going, splendidly. Frost is a standout rising senior at the Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, N.H. In recent months, analysts and scouts have praised Frost for his AAU performances while shining for the 17U team of the Boston-based Middlesex Magic in the Under Armour Association league.

Frost, lately, has seen his recruitment blow up, adding a bunch of new scholarship offers to an overall offer sheet that now totals more than 20. Some of his newer offers have arrived from schools such as Miami, Wisconsin, Saint Joseph’s, Boston College, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Minnesota and Nebraska.

Other Syracuse basketball 2025 targets could visit the program in the coming months.

According to recruiting services, Orange coaches have offered scholarships to more than 20 players in the rising high school senior class. That being said, these days, the 'Cuse staff is prioritizing a smaller group of 2025 prospects.

This list isn't meant to be fully exhaustive, but dating back to last September, here are some of the 2025 players who have made trips to Central New York, beyond Frost:

•Five-star forward Sadiq White Jr. from Charlotte, N.C. (verbally committed to 'Cuse in late May of this year; unofficially visited in mid-September of last year and late February of this year)
•Four-star combo guard Derek Dixon from Washington D.C. (officially visited in late September of last year)
•Four-star power forward/center Matthew Gilhool from Philadephia (officially visited in late September of last year; unofficially visited in late August of last year and in late February of this year)
•Four-star shooting guard Kiyan Anthony from New York City (officially visited in late October of last year)
•Four-star small forward London Jemison from Connecticut (officially visited in late December of last year)
•Four-star point guard Tyler Jackson from Baltimore (officially visited in late January of this year)

Since mid-April of 2024, the Orange staff has offered "newer" scholarships to at least six 2025 prospects (including Frost). The other five are:

•Four-star guard Acaden Lewis from Washington, D.C.
•Four-star small forward Shon Abaev from Florida
•Four-star shooting guard Dante Allen from Florida
•Four-star power forward/center Asher Elson from New York City
Five-star big man Chris Cenac Jr. from New Orleans

Another name to monitor is four-star point guard Josiah Sanders from Colorado, who is garnering interest from the 'Cuse.

Based on media reports, interviews, comments from recruiting analysts and my own sources, potential visit candidates to Syracuse basketball in the coming months could include Lewis, Abaev, Cenac and Sanders. We'll have to see about Allen and Elson.

Anthony has said in several recent interviews that he may visit the Orange again. Also, a report from early June stated that four-star point guard Keyshuan Tillery from Albany, N.Y., may have an interest in taking an official visit to Syracuse basketball.
