Not too long ago, recruiting service and media outlet 247Sports published its first rankings for the 2028 class, which consists of high school sophomores. To date, Syracuse basketball coaches have offered a scholarship to at least 11 prospects in the 2028 cycle for whom I'm aware, and some of these recruits are way high up in the 247Sports pecking order.
Here is where Syracuse basketball 2028 targets reside in the 247Sports ratings (in alphabetical order).

It's way too early to have a clear sense of which 2028 prospects the Orange staff will end up prioritizing, especially since college coaches can't initiate direct communication with players in this class until June 15 of next year.
Eric Bossi, the national basketball director at 247Sports, said of Hamilton: "Potentially the next big thing out of Canada, Hamilton is another bouncy athlete who does a ton of damage in transition and has developing perimeter skills. He has a huge ceiling for improvement."
Bossi added that Hiller "is skilled, tough, and scores with fluidity and ease from all three levels."
