Per a post on X from On3's director of recruiting Chad Simmons, 2026 four-star wide receiver Larry Miles from Florida plans to officially visit Syracuse football.

Simmons's post on X noted that the 6-foot, 174-pound Miles was on an official visit to Oregon this past weekend and has additional official visits scheduled to Kentucky, Pittsburgh and the 'Cuse. It's unclear to me when exactly Miles is planning to take an official visit to the Orange, but I'll keep monitoring this development.

In the past, Miles has unofficially visit Syracuse football, which is led by ace recruiter and head coach Fran Brown. Additionally, as I've noted many times of late, the Orange coaching staff is recruiting the Sunshine State extremely hard across its 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes, with the 'Cuse experiencing strong success to date.

The 247Sports Web site, meanwhile, says that Miles this month is eyeing official visits to Pittsburgh, Kentucky and Louisville, but not the Orange.

This past March, Miles disclosed a top 10 of Syracuse football, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Kentucky, Florida State, Miami, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Boston College and Wisconsin. The Orange has recruited him for a while now, offering Miles a scholarship on January 23, 2024.

Syracuse football will reportedly host 4-star wide receiver Larry Miles on an official visit.

As a junior during the 2024 campaign for Jones High School in Orlando, Fla., Miles caught 68 passes for 1,204 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.

In the 2026 class, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite has Miles at No. 466 around the country. Rivals.com places him as four stars and the No. 8 slot receiver.

When I wrote this piece on Sunday, there were at least four projections in Miami's direction for Miles between Rivals.com and the On3 Web site.

Currently, the Orange's 2026 class has 16 verbal pledges, including several wide receivers rated either four or three stars. Plus, Syracuse football coaches are heavily involved with five-star wide receiver and top-25 national prospect Calvin Russell lll of Miami Northwestern Senior High School as well as four-star wide receiver and top-50 national prospect Messiah Hampton of James Monroe High School in Rochester, N.Y.

The 'Cuse already has a top-15 national class in 2026, and adding Miles, Russell and/or Hampton would only further strengthen this Syracuse football cycle.
