On Tuesday, 247Sports refreshed its national rankings for the 2028 class, and more than a dozen Syracuse basketball recruiting targets made the cut of the top 125 prospects.
The new Orange staff, under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara, has ignited its 2028 recruiting efforts of late, especially as the contact period for this cycle opened on June 15. That enabled 'Cuse coaches to start initiating direct communication with rising high school juniors.
Since June 15, as I've outlined in many articles for Inside the Loud House, McNamara and his assistants have reached out to a wide variety of 2028 prospects, with some of these rising juniors picking up scholarship offers from Syracuse basketball coaches.
Below, I'll outline where Orange 2028 targets reside in these latest 247Sports rankings. All these prospects hold either an offer or interest from the 'Cuse. This list isn't likely to be fully comprehensive.
