Central Arkansas senior wide receiver Trejan Bridges, a three-star transfer prospect, took an official visit to Syracuse football this week, he revealed via his X page.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Bridges, who is from Carrollton, Texas, entered the transfer portal on April 16, according to his X account. The spring transfer portal window in college football opened on April 16 and was set to close on April 25.
Had an amazing time on my OV to Syracuse! 🍊

Blessed.
Bridges, during the 2024 season, caught 53 passes for 748 yards and six touchdowns through the air, according to ESPN statistics. This past term, Central Arkansas went 6-6 overall. The Bears are a member of the United Athletic Conference in the NCAA's Division I Football Championship Subdivision ("FCS").
Before suiting up for Central Arkansas, he attended Oklahoma, which is now a member of the Southeastern Conference. I hope that Trejan's official visit to the 'Cuse went well!
At least one other transfer wide receiver has visited Syracuse football this week, too.
When I wrote this article on Thursday night, in national transfer rankings, 247Sports placed Bridges as three stars, No. 836 overall and No. 149 at wide receiver.
As a member of the 2019 prep recruiting cycle, Bridges was highly ranked and highly sought-after. Per Rivals.com, while starring for Hebron High School in Carrollton, he held offers from college squads such as Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, BYU, Colorado, Illinois, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Oregon, SMU, Texas Tech, Utah, Washington State and Wisconsin, among others.
In the 2019 class, Rivals.com had Bridges as five stars, No. 21 overall, No. 4 at wide receiver and No. 4 in Texas. The industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking put him at four stars and No. 49 around the country in this cycle.
Another transfer wide receiver took a trip to the 'Cuse this week. According to Zach Blostein of 247Sports, Florida State sophomore wide receiver Hykeem Williams was also on the Hill visiting the Orange program.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Williams, rated as a four-star transfer prospect by 247Sports, held a scholarship offer from the 'Cuse while he played for Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
In the 2023 class, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite had Williams as five stars, No. 30 overall, No. 3 at wide receiver and No. 8 in Florida.
Following the 2024 season, the Orange did lose a few talented wide receivers to either them having exhausted their college eligibility or the transfer portal, but glancing ahead to the upcoming stanza, head coach Fran Brown and his staff have a solid-looking wide receivers room, a combination of returnees and members of the team's 2025 recruiting class at the high school level and through the portal.
