Inside the Loud House had previously confirmed that Syracuse women's basketball would suit up in the 2026 Discover Puerto Rico Shootout, and now we know the other squads in this multi-team tournament set for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Per a release from SU Athletics, the other three programs in this event are Wisconsin from the Big Ten Conference, Auburn out of the Southeastern Conference and Southern from the Southwestern Athletic Conference ("SWAC").

The Puerto Rico Shootout, to be held from November 25 to November 27, will take place at the Guillermo Angulo Coliseum and is organized as a round-robin tournament among the four teams.

Here is the Orange's schedule:
Syracuse women's basketball against Southern on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 11:00 am
Syracuse women's basketball against Wisconsin on Thursday, Nov. 26, at 1:30 pm
Syracuse women's basketball against Auburn on Friday, Nov. 27, at 11:00 am

Syracuse women's basketball is headed to Puerto Rico over the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Orange has never played Southern before. In the 2025-26 season, the Jaguars went 20-14 overall and 12-6 in SWAC competition. Southern earned a No. 16 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, knocking off fellow No. 16 seed Samford in the First Four before losing to No. 1 seed South Carolina in the round of 64.

Wisconsin was 16-18 overall and 5-13 in Big Ten games during the 2025-26 campaign. The 'Cuse and the Badgers have met once in the past. In 2017, Syracuse women's basketball defeated Wisconsin, 77-74, at the Paradise Jam in Washington, D.C.

Auburn, meanwhile, struggled last season, going just 15-17 overall and 3-13 in SEC contests. That included a 66-60 overtime setback for the Tigers to the Orange at the JMA Wireless Dome in December 2025 as part of the annual ACC/SEC Challenge. In their all-time series, though, Auburn leads Syracuse, 5-1.

Here is the Orange's full non-conference schedule as it currently stands. At least one more game is likely to be added:
•Syracuse women's basketball against UConn at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., on Monday, Oct. 12 (exhibition)
•Syracuse women's basketball against Sacred Heart at the Dome on Tuesday, Nov. 3
•Syracuse women's basketball against Cornell at the Dome on Sunday, Nov. 8
Syracuse women's basketball against Siena at the Dome on Wednesday, Nov. 11
•Syracuse women's basketball against Canisius at the Dome on Sunday, Nov. 15
•Syracuse women's basketball at Harvard on Wednesday, Nov. 18
•Syracuse women's basketball against Southern on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the Puerto Rico Shootout in San Juan

•Syracuse women's basketball against Oklahoma at the Dome on Thursday, Dec. 3 (ACC/SEC Challenge)
•Syracuse women's basketball at Le Moyne on Wednesday, Dec. 16

In 2025-26, the 'Cuse went 24-9 overall and 12-6 in Atlantic Coast Conference games. Syracuse advanced to the second round of this past spring's Big Dance.
