Syracuse women's basketball has added a talented prospect to its 2026 prep class.
The Orange announced on Monday morning that it has scored a commitment from 2026 player Destiny Robinson, a 6-foot forward from Queens, N.Y. A huge congrats and welcome from 'Cuse Nation to Destiny!
Robinson, who has a 6-foot-5 wingspan, visited the Orange program about a year ago, according to social media posts. In SU's 2026 prep class, she joins Madison Howard, a guard out of Monsignor Scanlan High School in the Bronx, N.Y.

In high school, Robinson had an excellent career while first competing for Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood, N.Y., and then St. Mary's College Preparatory High School in Manhasset, N.Y., on Long Island.
Syracuse women's basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, in a press release, said in part that Robinson "is a true winner! The player that you find under the rock in broad daylight, a state championship winner, played against the best players in our great state and won. She's gonna bring that pedigree to Syracuse."

Per SU Athletics, Robinson was a three-time selection to the Nassau Suffolk Catholic High School Athletic Association ("NSCHSAA") first team and was twice named the NSCHSAA player of the year.

In her senior season during the 2025-26 campaign, Robinson was a team captain and helped guide St. Mary's College Prep to a 22-3 overall record and the New York Catholic High School Athletic Association ("CHSAA") state Division I title.

As a senior, Robinson tallied 450 points, 391 rebounds, 148 assists and 162 steals. Oh, and in 2025, while suiting up for the New York-based Castle Athletics on the AAU circuits, Robinson won a PRO16 crown in the PUMA-sponsored league.
Beyond commitments at the high school level from Robinson and Howard, Orange head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and her assistants have landed at least two college transfers. They are SMU graduate student guard Tyi Skinner and Oregon junior forward Sarah Rambus.
Multiple players from SU's 2025-26 stanza, when Syracuse women's basketball went 24-9 overall and reached the NCAA Tournament's second round, have departed the team via the transfer portal, which closed on April 20.
A key returnee in 2026-27 will be freshman center Uche Izoje, the ACC's rookie of the year from this past term. Sophomore wing Shy Hawkins, initially, was entering the transfer portal, but she has since said that she will come back to the Orange in 2026-27.
